
On March 15th, 2005 100 participants came together to hear Pinny Gniwisch, Founder
and EVP markting of Ice.com.
Pinny has been responsible for developing strategic alliances with the leading
internet companies on the Web. "Names like Yahoo, AOL, MSN, MyPoints, Modern Bride
to name a few--have all entered into agreements with ICE.com because of their
belief in our product line and knowledge of the jewelry business."
Combining his knowledge of the jewelry business and his marketing incites have
been a major contributor to making ICE.com one of the leading jeweler's on the
Internet. "I believe customers feel at home visiting ICE.com-with its established
values, spirit, attitude, merchandise and service. My goal is to create and deliver
an experience that will generate long-term customer relationships."
The shakeout in the e-tailer world convinced them that they would be better off
focusing solely on building their base as the most trafficked jeweler on the Web.
They decided to return to their roots--which have long been in the jewelry business--and
pursue the marketing and branding strategies that have driven sales and made them
the most popular site in their category.
Pinny is a graduate from the Rabbinical College of America with a Masers in Jewish
Law and History he currently runs a children's organization in Montreal called
the The Living Legacy".
